Impacted Teeth
Impacted Teeth
An impacted tooth is one that is blocked from coming in on its own. Canines are one of the most commonly affected, and leaving them in place can affect the bite and neighboring teeth.
How We Help
- Early Detection — imaging to find a tooth that is not coming in as expected.
- Making Room — braces or expanders to create space in the arch.
- Guided Eruption — working with an oral surgeon to expose the tooth and gently bring it into place.
Next Steps
Each case is different, so treatment starts with a careful evaluation. Dr. Hyon will explain the options and coordinate care with any other specialist involved.
