Retainer Repairs
Retainer Repairs
A retainer keeps your teeth in the positions your orthodontic treatment achieved. If yours cracks, bends, loosens or stops fitting the way it should, we can check it and help with a repair.
When to Contact Us
- Cracked or Broken Retainer — a damaged retainer may no longer hold your teeth in place.
- Loose or Bent Wire — a wire that has shifted can stop working as intended or irritate your mouth.
- A Fit That Feels Different — a retainer that suddenly feels tight or loose is worth having checked.
What to Do in the Meantime
Keep the retainer and any broken pieces in its case and bring them with you, and avoid bending or adjusting it yourself. Call our office to arrange a visit so we can take a look.
